Buckle up! We're headed to a cozy #1950s diner after a hot summer's day in this #ambience ASMR! 🍨In this week's video you're on a long road trip with a few of your favorite people. It was one of the hottest days in recorded history, so you're utterly ecstatic when the sun finally gives way to the moon. You welcome the cool night air by rolling down your window and letting the wind collide with your face, stealing your breath. Your favorite song streams through the speakers, and your friends are telling stories that start with, "Remember that time when . . . ," all of which end in fits of laughter, and maybe a little embarrassment. The star-strewn sky glitters above you, and the shadowy trees whip by in a hypnotic blur. You're astounded that a moment so unadorned, so simple, can make you feel this alive. After miles and miles of darkness, you see a bright pink glow in the distance. A roadside diner, its neon lights proudly beaming, "OPEN 24/7." You all pile out of the car and stretch your limbs before heading into the cozy-looking joint. Inside are fellow roadtrippers, all of whom seem to have that same happy glow, that same summer-night high, that you do. You order a round of shakes then claim a worn, dilapidated booth in the back. You rest your head against the cool, albeit greasy, window, unable to recall a time when you've felt this calm. This content. 'This is it,' you think as you pull a sip from your ridiculously thick milkshake. 'This is where happiness is found: in the seemingly insignificant moments where nothing seems to be really happening, and yet everything somehow feels entirely whole.' Happiness is wherever you can fully be yourself, the moments never marred by judgement or soured by absurd expectations. Happiness is driving 100 miles per hour on an open road and feeling completely exhilarated. But it's also sitting slumped, burnt, and tired in a dingy diner with brain-freeze and feeling like you're still going 100 miles per hour.
